Call, don't queue

Two minutes on the phone. A fixed price before you hang up.

We don't take bookings through the website, and that is deliberate. A statutory examination has too many variables for a calendar to price correctly — group count, boiler type, water hardness, access. One short call settles all of it, and you get a number and a date in the same conversation.

  • Fixed price given on the call
  • Same-week slots where available
  • Certificate within 48 hours
  • £5m public liability & professional indemnity

Quick answer

Why is a phone call faster than a form?

Because a call answers back. A form has to be read, routed and answered — usually the next working day, sometimes after we have asked you two more questions. On the phone we ask the three things that decide the price (machine, group count, postcode) and give you the figure immediately.

Why we'd rather you rang

The phone is faster. The form is for when you can't.

A form cannot answer a question, and with a pressure system the questions are the price. It cannot tell you that your machine prices as a 2-group rather than a 3-group, that your water needs a C500 rather than a C300, or that the fault you describe is a blocked valve rather than a boiler rebuild.

So the form is deliberately short: your name, your number and the postcode. Enough for us to ring you with a fixed figure. Two minutes on the phone gets you a date as well, which is why we would still rather you called.

You get the price on the call

Not "we'll come back to you". Have the machine make, the group count and the postcode to hand and you will have a fixed figure before you hang up.

We book the slot while you are on the line

If there is availability this week, it is confirmed in the same call — including pre-opening and after-close slots.

You speak to someone who knows the machine

Not a call centre reading a script. If your machine needs something unusual, you will hear it from the engineer who understands it.

Can't call right now?

Ask us to ring you back.

Three things and we can call you with a fixed price: your name, your number and the postcode. Everything else is optional.

Add the machine details Optional — but it lets us price it on the first call
More than one site? Add them here — five or more unlocks the 20% group rate

Only the postcode is essential. We check each one for engineer availability and come back with one price for the group.

Or call 0208 037 9340 — a person answers, 9am to 5pm.

Before you call

Three details and we can price it.

Have these to hand and the call takes about two minutes:

  • The machine make and model (on the boiler plate)
  • The group count
  • The site postcode
  • Any previous certificate or Written Scheme held on file
  • Your water filter model, if you know it
  • Whether you have an insurance or landlord deadline

What happens after the call

  1. 1. We confirm the fixed price and the slot on the call, and put it in writing.
  2. 2. On site: examination, service and photographic evidence.
  3. 3. Within 48 hours: Written Scheme of Examination, certificate, examination report and your next examination date.

Open 06:30–19:00, Monday to Friday

Saturday 07:00–17:00. Out of hours, leave a message with your number and machine, and we will call you back first thing.

Why should I call rather than book online?

Because a phone call gets you a price, not a queue. We only need the machine make, the group count and the postcode to quote a PSSR examination, and we can confirm a date in the same conversation. A form has to be read, routed and answered — usually the next working day, sometimes after two more questions. Two minutes on the phone is the fastest route we have, and it is the one we recommend.

Can I book online?

No. We deliberately do not take bookings through the website. A statutory examination has too many variables for a calendar widget to price correctly — group count, boiler type, water hardness, access — and we would rather answer your question than send you a confirmation you have to correct later. Call 0208 037 9340 and we will price it while you are on the line.

How quickly can you attend?

Most the UK sites are seen within the same week, and certificates are issued within 48 hours of the visit. Call 0208 037 9340 and we will confirm the next available slot there and then, including pre-opening and after-close appointments.

What if I can't call right now?

Leave your number using the callback form on this page and we will ring you, usually within a couple of working hours. Calling is still faster — a callback means waiting for us to reach you, whereas a call gets the answer immediately.

What do you need from us before the visit?

Safe access to the machine including rear or under-counter panels, a working water supply, drainage and a nearby power isolator. Have the machine make, model and group count to hand when you call, and send any previous certificates or Written Scheme of Examination in advance.

Can you work outside our opening hours?

Yes. Out-of-hours slots are standard: before opening from 06:30, during quiet afternoon trade or after close, including Sundays for sites that trade all weekend. Emergency breakdown call-outs are £135 + VAT for the first hour on site.

Call now and you'll have a price in two minutes.

Same-week appointments nationwide, published fixed prices, and the Written Scheme of Examination in your inbox within 48 hours of the visit.
